Sue and I joined Watkins because we fell in love with the products. They are simply the best. After attending a Watkins Convention in 1981, we decided to throw off the constraints of the work-a-day world and go full-time in our Watkins Business. That is the best decision we ever made! By 1984, in just 3 years, we were able to buy our dream home, a 10 room home with 2 fireplaces and an in-ground swimming pool and we were able to pay cash for it! We also bought a new mini-van and paid cash for it.
This simply is something we just could not have done on my former salary of $35,000 per year as a district manager of a food company. After just three years with Watkins, we gained financial independence. This year we earned 6 times my former salary. Job security is not when you receive a paycheck but when you write your own. When I was a sales manager I was at the mercy of whatever the company decided to pay me, not anymore.
Since we have been with Watkins, anything we thought might happen has exceeded our expectations. If I had to pick one word to describe our experience with Watkins that word would be Freedom. Freedom is defined as the right or power to do as one pleases. Watkins has provided us with that through financial independence and time freedom.
