As a new Watkins Associate as well as a customer I'm still falling in love with the products I sell.  With each new item I try I become more and more convinced that I am providing my customers with the best products available. 

Both my father and my husband love chocolate and peanut butter.  I thought I would make them a special fathers day treat and a chocolate and peanut butter pie sounded perfect.  My only problem is that I had never made one before.  I love to bake, but pies were not something I did very often.  I had recently ordered Watkins Chocolate Dessert Mix and decided to give it a try. I made a basic graham cracker crust, followed the directions on the Watkins dessert mix package (use the pie filling directions) and added 3TBSP of creamy peanut butter when the mix was done cooking (I added it while the mix was still warm so it would mix easier.) I topped it off with whiped cream before serving.  The results were delicious!  The pie was a hit and it was so easy to make, I know that this will become a staple at holidays and other gathering.  I can't wait to exeriment with other flavors and combinations.
