Half of 2009 is over already! 

Hard to believe this year is going so quickly.  For months we planned and worked to begin our 'retirement' and now we are actively living it!  What a difference. 

No more punching the time clock.  We can usually sleep in -- all the way to 8 am if we want -- unless we are going to a market that day.  In addition to a small pension and our Watkins income we also sell at flea markets and other venues to support ourselves while traveling.

Since we left our employers we have spent several weeks at my brother's home in Mansfield, Arkansas 'camping' in his back yard.  When we return from the Summit Group Watkins Conference in St Louis July 10 & 11 we will begin traveling more.    We hope to spend at least 2 weeks in a location selling at various flea markets etc before moving to other locations throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and possibly Louisiana.  This fall we will begin working our way toward the Arizona dessert area for the winter.  Hope to meet some of you while we are traveling. 

I have enjoyed meeting lots of new people already.  Seeing their excitement when they realize the products that they remember from their childhood available to them is rewarding.    It is great to introduce new people to products that have been used for generations too.   The  natural products offered by Watkins are fantastic and offer hope to many who cannot use the harsh chemicals in so many cleaners and products today.
