Just Like the Good Ole Days by: Leanne Brown I, like many others I am sure, began my Watkins Business as my own best customer. I grew up surrounded by Watkins products in our home. Over the years,sadly, we didn't have a sales rep in our area and just stopped using the products. As a child, I took no real note of this. Two years ago , all grown up, I was in a local drugstore that had available a select few Watkins products. I took advantage of the selection and came home with my treasures. Being computer savy, I was quick to hop online and look up the website listed on the bottle. WATKINS IS STILL IN BUSINESS! I did not hesitate to sign up as a Rep to get my discount. During the past couple of years, J.R. Watkins and I have rekindled our love affair. My purchases had been for me and a few gifts for others. Now though, I am home with a new baby and have decided to spread the love to others. I did the word of mouth and online adds and my business is starting to grow. I have made it my mission to use each and every one of the multitude of products Watkins has to offer. I have, to date, not found a product I do not like. Living in the Maritimes there are plenty of folks just like me that remember the Watkins Sales Person coming to call on Ma & Pa. I have fond memories of cuts and scrapes getting the "Salve Treatment" cakes, cookies, pies etc etc. Nothing compares to the flavour added by Watkins vanilla, cinnamon & extracts. I hope to be doing this for years to come. My children will grow up with the same fond memories of Vanilla Cupcakes and Cinnamon Toast, of scabs on knees getting a rich coating of Petro-Carbo Salve, and a kiss to make it better.
